Criterium Circuit
Opening Date
The Chief Minister for the Australian Capital Territory Government, Mr Jon Stanhope MLA, officially opened the Stephen Hodge Criterium Cycling Circuit on the 2nd of December 2006.
This date coincided with the start of the 2006 Brindabella Challenge, which was based at Stromlo Forest Park for the first, of hopefully many, Brindabella Challenges.
The Brindabella Challenge is a multi-event challenge held over 2 weekends this year incorporating events such as the Urban Polaris, AROC adventure series, CORC mountain bike training and races and a series of training and races in cycling to name just a few.
