JARED RANDO

Canberra local Jared Rando is one of Australia’s most well known and seasoned downhill pros. As a pro traveling and racing all over the world for the last 9 years, he has achieved multiple national championships, and a long, impressive list of international results and titles in downhill, 4X and dual slalom racing.

As a member of Giant’s Global race team for the last 5 years and a multi time Australian team member,  he is not only one of Australia’s best riders, but also writes regularly for Australia’s premier mountain bike publications with regular how-to articles in Australian Mountain Bike Magazine and a regular column in Revolution Magazine.

With a career, which first started locally in Canberra, has seen Jared become a world renowned rider and racer, Stromlo Forest Park is extremely happy to be working with Jared for 2009 with a goal to further develop Stromlo as internationally recognized, world class cycling facility.

Stromlo Forest Park is a shared public facility with designated trails for bike riders, walkers and equestrians. Trails are clearly marked and colour coded and there are specific rules for their use.
