Stromlo Forest Park offers its users a huge variety of world class riding. From a large selection of beginner and intermediate trails to riding the same tracks used at the 2009 UCI World Mountain Bike Championships, the park offers something for every mountain bike rider out there.
Trail counters placed at the bottom of “Old Duffy” are currently counting approximately 1200 riders per week on this trail. That’s over 50,000 riders per year.
Stromlo Forest Park’s “Trail Support Program” provides its partners with an opportunity and incentives to invest in trails at Stromlo Forest Park. It’s a program designed to bring local businesses and clubs together with the common goal of creating more trails, and improving existing trails within the park.
The aim of the program is simple and something which everyone benefits from - to build better trails within Stromlo Forest Park. More trails means more people having more fun on bikes and at the end of the day, that’s a good thing for everyone.
Those involved with the program receive benefits through supporting the park and more importantly, the recognition that your club or business is supporting trails in the Canberra region. All funds raised by the program go directly into the development of new and existing trails.
